Exhibits

Marine Room

Main Level | Exhibit

The marine room houses full-size casts of a Tylosaurus, Plesiosaur, and Protostega, along with ammonite, trilobite, and shell fossils.

Lab

Main Level | Exhibit

This is where the fossils that are dug up on our dig site get prepped for display. Some days you can watch our Paleontologist working on various bones. If you join us for a Dig and Fossil Prep experience, this is where you would learn to prepare the fossils that you find.

Tyrannosaurus

Main Level | Exhibit

Come meet our cast of Stan, the Tyranosaurus  Rex. He was dug up in South Dakota in 1987, was named after discoverer Stan Sacrison, and is one of the most complete T. rex skeletons that has been found. Several years ago the original fossils sold for over $30 million. We also have a cast of Stan’s skull in our lobby.

Badland Fossils

Main Level | Exhibit

We have multiple cases throughout the museum that contain bones dug up on our dig site. We are also working on preparing a fairly complete skeleton of an Edmontasaurus, named Ruth, for display.

Triceratops

Main Level | Exhibit

We have a full-sized cast of the well known, three-horned, frilled dinosaur. We also have many triceratops fossils dug up in the local area. The rivalry between T. rex and Triceratops is fierce around here; which is your favorite?

Theater

Main Level | Videos

Our theater plays though various films throughout the day, and we also use it to host groups for talks and tours.

Dig Site Room

Upper Level | Exhibit

Our dig site room shows how a dig site can be set up, different tools that are used for excavating, and how bones are dug up and jacketed for transport.

Biblical History Room

Upper Level | Exhibit

We have a whole collection of Bibles and scrolls, collected by Otis Kline, the museum founder, on display, including a 1611 King James Bible.

Order of Burial

Upper Level | Exhibit

Our order of burial exhibit explains how the fossil record could have been formed during the Genesis flood.

Ice Age

Upper Level | Exhibit

What happened after the Flood? How were canyons carved? What creatures roamed the earth? How did people survive? What about the Tower of Babel? Learn answers to this and more in our Ice Age exhibit.

What about Dragons?

Upper Level | Exhibit

What happened to dinosaurs after the flood? Are dragons, dinosaurs? What about dragon legends? Come meet our Dracorex Hogwartsia and get answers to these questions.

In Their Own Words

Upper Level | Exhibit

Read quotes from evolutionary scientists, in their own words, about how the explanation of evolution falls short of the evidence we see.

“In Their Own Words” exposes the hypocrisy of the evolutionary establishment. Some may think we are “quote mining” or taking some quotes out of context. We don’t believe any quotes misrepresent in any way the intent of the writers. For the reader who wants to
verify the quote(s) we have included the reference so they can verify for themselves the accuracy of the author’s statement(s).

We also sell a booklet with the quotes from the exhibit in our gift shop.

Geology Cave

Upper Level | Exhibit

The geology cave contains exhibits on minerals, crystals, how stalagmites and stalactites form, and how fossilization occurs. We also have a model of Mt. St. Helens that shows how layers are laid down and how fast canyons can be carved.

Ankylosaurus

Upper Level | Exhibit

The Ankylosaurus, or Anky, as we call him, has that classic triangle head and club-shaped tail. Our museum artist, Melanie Richard, created this model, along with many others for the museum.
